Hanger Bearing

A Hanger Bearing is usually a friction bearing, meaning it is a metal shaft riding on some type of solid hanger bearing. The bearings provide a bearing surface to support a screw section when multiple screw sections are used in a screw conveyor. Hanger bearings are journal or plain type bearings that mount in hangers and are replaceable when worn. The bearings are comprised of a split-roller bearing in a cast iron split-housing with a threaded boss. Hanger Bearing is very useful.
